Face of the day #5

I wanted a more smokey brown look today so here is what I did:

// Of course I started with my usual base of Revlon Colorstay buffed in with a Real techniques buffing brush standard.

// Then I covered my awful dark circles and a few problem spots with my concealer from Collection.

// I filled my eyebrows in with Macs Coquette and an angled brush, I wanted them to look a little thicker today, maybe I was channeling my inner Cara Delevingne.

// Then I brushed on some blusher from Topshop in Pop, it's a neon orange, but it looks surprisingly natural on my skin.

// I finished my skin with a dusting of my H&M Bronzer to warm my skin up a bit, it's so cold here in England that I'm still super pale.

// Now onto the eyes, I started with my favourite eye base- Mac Painterly Paintpot. It just covers any redness or veins and gives a very nice base for other products.

// Then I used a no-name brown eye-liner I found in my makeup stash, but of course any brown eyeliner you have will work. I messily drew a line along my top lash-line and in the outer corner of the bottom lashes, and to smudge it out I used a pencil eye-shadow brush to give it the smokey effect I wanted.

// With that done I applied lashings of my favourite mascara- the Max factor eye brightening mascara to open my eyes back up.

// And lastly I applied a bit of my 2true lip-gloss in 1, this stuff is amazing and only £1.79 in Superdrug, bargain.
